The characters continue looking into the mysterious disappearance of the Davies family, who have been revealed as raging Bibliomaniacs amongst other less salubrious perversions. Did they even intend to hand over the Vishakpatnam Fragment?

Venturing into the Broads they head downstream towards Rosethorne Manor, supposedly the home of the Davies “Greatest Opponents” when it came to book collection.

The Police have also arrived, will they prove helpful, or a major hindrance?
