Izzy is back and she speaks italian! So as they finally get to see Mr Toscanini on the pretense of them patronising the Opera, but in fact so they can pump him for information on their missing friend Miss Cavolaro, things are looking up.

But what of the Stage manager Rischonti and his talk of curses, what of the Chameleon that seemed to be connected to the ghostly voice they heard the night before, and finally what is going on with the patron Conti, who seemingly has recovered from tuberculosis, which should have killed him.
