Their plan to sneak out having sabotaged Pairaud’s ‘Melt Avignon’ Plan well and truly scuppered the Knights find themselves in a battle they never wanted, Fighting against fellow Templars. Will they all make it through, or will the combat between brothers be too much and see some of them laid low?

With Carlos captured the Knights have to decide how they are going to press forward. What about the Moral question… Do they leave Pairaud and his knights to attempt their plan without George’s help? Is there any of the other knights they can swing to their side.

The Templars have decided that just noping out of Pairaud’s plan to melt the pope is a good idea. First though they need to Locate John of Jerusalem so they can avoid leaving him behind. Unsure who to trust they do not bring any of the other Templars into their confidence.

With George being led off to do research on the “blow up Avignon” plan, the others decide to do some sleuthing. It also seems like cracks are appearing in the loyalties of the other group of Templars. Please Note about halfway through we ended up getting some Echo from Zoom I have attempted to remove it.

Having talked to Pairaud the Templars have a difficult conversation about whether they should help to.. Melt… Avignon. Strangely they don’t seem too sold on the plan…

Suddenly finding themselves faced with what seem to be fellow Templars, the Templars have to decide if they trust them and if they do… How much to share with them.

The rescue is on! First they need to murder a load of Men at Arms, then get the horses ready for the escape. If they manage to get that done they just have to whisk a loud and impulsive Knight out of an enemy camp without him causing an ruckus.

With John of Jerusalem in the hands of the Tuetonic order the Knights Templar must work out if they can save him, and if they try, how on earth they can get out of there with him!

Finally out of the forests the Templars look forward to travelling through the much easier (and much less FRENCH) Dijon Valley. Although the Kings Men cannot enter the lands of the Duke of Burgundy without question… So the Church seems to have had other ideas, enlisting the help of the Teutonic Order. An order that Heinrich has had some run ins with before.

Plagued all night by the Werewolf, the Templars first try and avoid it, and then consider hunting it. Why is it plagueing them, what could it want. First though… picking plants.

The Templars choose to take the best advantage of Quercus’s protection and hike through the woods to the Dijon Valley, unfortunately they seem to be being hunted… by something that sounds like a wolf.

With Quercus offerring deals, the Knights Templar have to make some decisions on what they are willing to give up in return for knowledge and power… Isn’t it strange how they fall into the same traps as the Grandmaster? Also have they realised what the demon hunting them is… and who…

Running into the Woods near Avallon the Templars realise they have to get some rest and then make as much distance as they can as they head south. But travelling in the depths of winter is not the easiest…

Having overseen the doom of the Order of St Egidius the Knights Templar rush into the catacombs with the forces of the Holy Inquisition right on their Heels. They need to find a way out of the Catacombs, but underground

Still in the catacombs the Knights Templar do some tidying up (mostly of flagellants) and receive the good news that they may be able to finally destroy the Chalice of Fear. However the research will take another five hours. Can they keep the Inquisition forces back and stop them breaking in for that long?

The Templars have rescued the elderly father, but they have realised that Swainson may not be exactly what they expected. Which is bad… as they have stolen his journal. Rapid remortaring of the wall occurs along with planning to collapse the tunnel, preferably without disturbing the magick circle.

They might have a way to sneak into the castle and either rescue or… silence Father Tizarre without being obvious. However to do so George needs to persuade Sven that he is in fact NOT a foul sorceror, but rather a pious knight using the gifts God himself handed to Solomon.

Having made it into the Secret Libray and even better have reopened the entry way at the Scribe Rest, all should now have been well… Except Inquisitor Swainson has now turned up in the city and is starting to make waves, and he seems to have flagellants with him. He also seems to want to “interview” all of the Monks and Priests about the plague of rats.

How to get a Bishop out of his room? Fill said room with Rats and then pretend to be Rat Catchers. That is if Estienne can sneak in without being spotted, and the rest of the Templars can pull off “pretend to be rat catchers”.
