In the world of Painyme, The Divine lies dead slain by their treacherous children. These children have not had it all their own way however as the Mortals have proved resourceful and have slain Joy. Death has closed it’s doors, the world slides towards chaos and anguish. A whole kingdom has been swallowed by the Weald, and Wycces and Monsters crawl amongst the others. Into this world step the “worthy” members of the Taxidermist’s Guild, heretics, wicces, ne’er-do-wells and displaced knights all they dedicate their life to finding, cataloguing, capturing and stuffing the hideous beasts of the Weald under licence from the Church.
This licence comes with strings however, and those strings are being pulled. Despite it very much not being in their wheel house the Taxidermist’s guild has been tapped to go to The Petty Barony of Terust to help the Primor there will some fractious Peasants from the wonderfully named Drumple.
